The rules that make Fair is Fair work for everyone.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Maryland Task Force ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Platform.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be legally able to work in the United States
• Service providers must operate within Maryland
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information

4. Account Responsibilities

For All Users:

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Maintain accurate profile and contact information
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes

For Service Providers:

• Accurately represent your skills, certifications, and experience
• Maintain appropriate licenses and insurance for your services
• Complete jobs to the standard described and agreed upon
• Respond professionally to all client communications

For Clients:

• Provide clear, accurate job descriptions
• Pay agreed-upon rates promptly after job completion
• Treat providers with respect and professionalism
• Provide honest feedback and ratings

5. The Quality Rebate System

Our unique quality incentive program:

• Providers who maintain 4.8+ star ratings earn rebates on platform fees
• Rebate percentages increase with consistent quality performance
• Rebates are calculated monthly and credited to your account
• We reserve the right to modify rebate structures with 30 days notice

6. Fees & Payments

• Platform Fee: We charge providers a competitive percentage of completed jobs
• Subscription Tiers: Optional premium features available at $4.99/mo (Pro) and $19.99/mo (Business)
• Payment Processing: Handled securely through Stripe
• Disputes: Must be reported within 48 hours of job completion

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following will result in immediate account suspension or termination:

• Scamming, fraud, or deceptive practices
• Taking transactions off-platform to avoid fees
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
• Fake reviews or rating manipulation
• Providing services without required licenses/insurance
• Violating any local, state, or federal laws
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans

8. AI-Powered Services

Our platform uses artificial intelligence for:

• Matching clients with optimal providers
• Voice assistant for phone inquiries at (855) 687-9582
• Fraud detection and quality assurance
• Price recommendations and market analysis

AI decisions may be reviewed by our team upon request.

9. Dispute Resolution

• We encourage direct resolution between parties first
• Platform mediation available for unresolved disputes
• Our decision in mediated disputes is final
• For legal disputes: Maryland state courts have jurisdiction

10. Limitation of Liability

Maryland Task Force is a marketplace connecting users. We are not:

• Employers of service providers
• Guarantors of work quality (though we have standards)
• Liable for damages exceeding fees paid to us in the past 12 months
• Responsible for third-party links or services

11. Intellectual Property

The Maryland Task Force name, logo, "Fair is Fair" slogan, and platform design are our property. Users retain rights to their content but grant us license to display it on our platform.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations. You may delete your account at any time through settings or by contacting support. Outstanding payments remain due after termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We'll notify users of material changes 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
